The surroundings of Termeno
The south of South Tyrol provides the ideal starting point for beautiful destinations both near and far.
- Bolzano: the fruit market and the arbors are the centre of this lively city with the newly built Museum of Natural Science, where the Ice Man Ötzi is on display.
- Merano: world-renowned cure town with a lot of flair from ancient, palatial days, scenic promenades and "Trauttmansdorff Castle", the former winter residence of the Austrian Emperor Sissi with beautiful gardens and an exotic variation of plants, which is definitely worth a visit.
- Trento: the Trento Dome, built on the occasion of the 1st Vatican Council, characterizes the historic city centre. Worth viewing is also the former seat of the Trento archbishops, the "Buonconsiglio Castle".
- Dolomites: this natural landscape is unique, wide alpine pastures (Alpe di Siusi) and sharp mountain peaks (Cattinaccio) provide a scenic landscape
- Verona: the world-renowned opera "Arena di Verona", festivals in June and August, offers opera fans a fantastic adventure, but the rest of the city is also worth a visit (for example the house of Romeo and Juliet)
